Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Jr. Accountant at UCID’s Mumbai office. The Jr. Accountant will manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include bookkeeping, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and supporting audits. The individual will collaborate with various departments to ensure the financial health of the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and bookkeeping tasks
• Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
• Proficient in accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks or Tally
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage time effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous experience in an advertising agency or creative industry is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams
• Basic idea of TDS and GST and Zoho Books
