Jr. Accountant – Jairaj Foods

Company Description: Jairaj Foods
Jairaj Foods, part of the Jairaj Group, supplies quality Rice, Dals, Pulses, Cereals, Superfoods and other food products to Hotels, Restaurants, Caterers, Institutions, Food Service Companies and Suppliers across India and international markets.
Location: Market Yard, Pune
CTC: ₹2.40 – ₹2.65 LPA
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM
Saturday: Working
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day book-keeping and accounting records
- Handle debit/credit entries, purchase & sales entries
- Manage inward and outward transactions
- Maintain and update inventory records and stock registers
- Record stock inward, outward, transfers and adjustments
- Reconcile physical stock with accounting/inventory records
- Coordinate with purchase, sales and warehouse teams for stock-related documentation
- Track inventory movement, purchase quantities and stock balances
- Prepare and maintain Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)
- Handle payments, receipts and bank-related accounting
- Assist with GST filing and other tax-related filings
- Maintain proper accounting, inventory and statutory documentation
- Prepare weekly accounts, inventory and MIS reports
- Maintain ledgers and ensure accurate accounting entries
- Support audit and compliance requirements
Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com / Commerce background preferred
- Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
- Hands-on knowledge of Tally Prime
- Knowledge of Debit/Credit, Ledger & BRS
- Basic knowledge of GST and tax filings
- Understanding of inventory and stock accounting
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Fresher or relevant experience can apply
