The Role
As a Tech Lead, You Will Be Responsible For
- Producing software code of the highest quality, with a focus on efficiency, craftsmanship, simplicity, and elegance.
- Evaluating contemporary and emerging technologies and recommending their adoption judiciously, solely to benefit the product and drive business growth.
- Gaining an in-depth understanding of strategic product evolution plans, tech stacks, modernization/migration initiatives, and progressively addressing technical debt, ensuring zero disruption to short-term business operations.
- Taking ownership of the product and its architecture, ensuring delivery that meets or exceeds customer expectations while enabling business growth.
- Instilling and promoting best practices and standards in design, coding, quality assurance, automation, security, and agile processes.
- Acting as the gatekeeper for everything delivered to the customer and being accountable for the quality and overall customer experience.
- Demonstrating technical leadership and participating in design and code reviews to maintain the highest levels of quality.
- Identifying areas for improvement in the codebase to ensure architectural/design integrity and scalability.
Ideal Profile
- You have a degree in Engineering from a top tier institute as well as at least 9 years experience, including atleast three years of experience as tech lead
- You are a highly skilled developer with strong proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript, enabling you to build and maintain high-quality applications.
- You are proficient in both low-level and high-level programming, with strong Data Structures and Algorithms skills for efficient problem-solving and system design.
- You possess deep experience in microservices architecture and design patterns, ensuring scalable and efficient system design.
- You have in-depth knowledge of database systems such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, with hands-on experience in designing and optimizing complex data solutions.
- You are proficient with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and leverage cloud technologies to create robust and scalable infrastructure.
- You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders such as product managers, frontend engineers, and others.
