Linguistic Expert - Multilingual

Role & Responsibilities: Linguistic Expert Audio Transcription: Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into text format in multiple languages with high accuracy, ensuring proper grammar, punctuation, and adherence to project-specific guidelines. Quality Assurance: Review and proofread transcriptions in various languages to eliminate errors and ensure completeness, accuracy, and coherence in the final text. Retention of Original Meaning: Maintain the original meaning of the audio content without adding personal interpretations, paraphrasing, or altering the essence of the communication. Deadlines & Productivity: Meet daily or weekly transcription targets consistently to ensure timely project completion. Software & Tools: Use transcription software and tools efficiently to enhance productivity and accuracy in work. Confidentiality & Data Security: Ensure all audio files and transcriptions remain confidential and are handled with discretion. Collaboration: Communicate regularly with project managers, linguists, and content teams to incorporate feedback and ensure project expectations are met. Content Optimization: Assist in the creation of subtitles, captions, and transcripts that improve accessibility and engagement for audiences across digital platforms. Multilingual Transcription: Provide translations and transcriptions in multiple languages to support a diverse audience. Adaptability: Work on diverse content, including interviews, speeches, educational materials, entertainment videos, and more. Skills Required: Linguistic Expert Strong Language Proficiency: Excellent command over multiple languages, both written and spoken. Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and correct linguistic errors in different languages. Time Management: Ability to meet strict deadlines. Technical Skills: Experience with transcription software, speech-to-text tools, and Microsoft Word or Google Docs. Typing Speed: Fast and accurate typing skills. Content Proofreading: Ability to review and refine text to ensure clarity and correctness in multiple languages. Knowledge of Linguistics: Understanding of phonetics, syntax, and semantics is a plus. Regional Language Skills (Preferred): Fluency in other Indian languages is an advantage. Eligibility Criteria: Linguistic Expert Educational Qualification: No specific degree requirement; graduates and non-graduates can apply. Experience: 0 – 1 year of experience in transcription, content writing, proofreading, or related fields. Work Mode: Freelance/Remote with flexible working hours.
