Job Overview

Joseph Decorative Glass is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and managing decorative glass projects, ensuring successful delivery that meets client expectations. This role requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and an understanding of the unique requirements of the decorative glass industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning and Coordination:
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets tailored to decorative glass projects.
• Collaborate with design, production, and installation teams to align project goals and timelines.
• Technical Oversight:
• Provide technical expertise in decorative glass applications, including material selection and design feasibility.
• Conduct risk assessments and address engineering challenges specific to decorative glass installations.
• Execution and Monitoring:
• Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.
• Monitor project progress, address any deviations, and ensure timely delivery.
• Client and Stakeholder Management:
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and contractors.
• Provide regular updates, address concerns, and ensure alignment with client expectations.

• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and post-project evaluations.
• Ensure proper documentation for all project-related decisions and changes.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in civil, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably within the decorative glass or construction industry.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software.
• Knowledge of decorative glass properties, production techniques, and installation processes.
