Summary:
The Boost Program Assistant is a part-time role that provides essential support for student outreach, engagement, and enrollment efforts within the Boost program. This position assists with communication campaigns, recruitment initiatives, and administrative functions, while helping guide prospective and current students through the Boost enrollment process and program requirements. The ideal candidate is outgoing, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting student success.
Position Duties
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Represent the Boost Program in a professional and engaging manner during outreach and recruitment activities;
- Perform targeted outreach to prospects, applicants, and accepted students to ensure they are progressing through the Boost enrollment process;
- Conduct call campaigns to prospective students, applicants, and current Boost members to provide program information, reminders, and follow-up support;
- Support recruitment and enrollment efforts by assisting with events such as recruitment fairs, information sessions, and campus pop-up tables;
- Track and document student interactions, outreach efforts, and enrollment progress in the database;
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, preparing materials, and organizing outreach lists; and
- Collaborate with Boost staff on special projects, events, and initiatives to support program growth and retention.

Education Minimum: High school diploma/GED
Experience Minimum:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and support diverse student populations.
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail in completing tasks and maintaining records.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry systems used for student tracking and outreach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a student support environment.
Other Qualifications
Language Skills
- Ability to read and understand basic program materials, outreach lists, and guidelines related to student enrollment and support services.
- Ability to write clear and professional emails, notes, and simple reports to support student outreach and program communication.
- Ability to communicate information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings with students, staff, and campus partners.
- Ability to explain program steps, deadlines, and requirements in a clear, student-friendly manner.
- Comfortable presenting information during outreach events, information sessions, and campus activities.
- Ability to follow communication templates and scripts while maintaining a friendly and engaging tone.
Mathematical Skills- Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) to support data entry, tracking, and outreach activities.
- Ability to work with simple percentages and ratios when reviewing enrollment data and outreach progress.
Reasoning Ability- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to support data entry, communication, and document preparation for student outreach and program activities.
