As an integral member of Johnson & Johnson MedTech Surgery Supply Chain Planning Team, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that our patients and doctors are getting the surgical devices they need when they need them. As a Global Supply Chain Planning Student, you will: Conduct all planning activities for one of our external manufacturers Develop detailed supply plans that will be used to coordinate production at the external manufacturer Own the end-to-end Order Management process, including placing new purchase orders, developing purchase forecasts, and performing virtual receipts Identify and escalate product vulnerabilities to cross-functional business partners and stakeholders Improve capabilities and effectiveness of the Sales & Operations Planning process Monitor and report on key performance metrics, while offering insights and suggestions on how to improve the business Be empowered to design and implement improvements to new and existing processes that will benefit the Planning team and broader organization Become a team Subject Matter Expert for multiple ERP systems, including SAP and JD Edwards Utilize various Data Visualization and Analytics tools such as Tableau and SQL to own and execute critical reports and dashboards for multiple Supply Chain teams In summary, you will own every aspect of your role - from serving as the owner of our team's most critical business processes, to leading continuous improvement initiatives on a global scale, to serving as the face of our team to other internal and external business partners.
