This position is available full-time or part-time (minimum 24 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from customers, law enforcement, property managers, and roadside partners
- Collect accurate details (location, vehicle type, situation, safety concerns)
- Dispatch drivers using GPS, dispatch software, and radio/phone communication
- Prioritize calls based on urgency, safety, and service level agreements
- Monitor driver status and adjust assignments in real time
- Provide professional, empathetic customer service—often during stressful situations
- Maintain accurate digital records, logs, and billing information
- Coordinate with management on scheduling, coverage, and service issues
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong verbal communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to remain calm and organized in high-pressure situations
- Basic computer skills (dispatch software, GPS, email, data entry)
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work nights, weekends, or holidays as scheduled
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous dispatch, towing, transportation, or call-center experience
- Familiarity with the Denver metro and surrounding Colorado areas
- Experience using Towbook or similar towing/dispatch software
- Knowledge of Colorado Public Utilities Commission (PUC) regulations related to towing and transportation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Office-based position with extended periods of sitting
- Frequent phone and computer use
- Ability to handle high call volumes
- Occasional lifting of light office materials (up to 15 lbs)
