Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. The Job Title will support day-to-day transportation and logistics activities, including coordinating shipments, communicating with carriers and shippers, and maintaining accurate documentation. Responsibilities may include tracking freight status, resolving delivery issues, and ensuring that service standards and timelines are consistently met. The role will also involve collaborating with internal teams to optimize routes, manage costs, and support continuous improvement in logistics processes. The individual in this role will be expected to uphold company values of professionalism, transparency, and reliable customer service.
Qualifications
- Experience or strong interest in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations, including freight brokerage, shipment coordination, or route planning.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and logistics or transportation management systems, with ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to work effectively with carriers, shippers, and internal teams.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple shipments, documentation, and deadlines accurately.
- Problem-solving skills to address service disruptions and support efficient, cost-effective freight solutions.
- Relevant education such as a diploma or degree in logistics, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work on-site in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar and collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
