The Role
We are looking for a Junior Accountant who will play a key role in managing financial operations, transaction reconciliation, and settlement processes across the platform.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to build deep expertise in payments, fintech operations, and high-volume transaction accounting.
You will work closely with the finance, product, and operations teams to ensure financial accuracy across the ecosystem.
What You’ll Be Responsible ForTransaction & Settlement Operations
- Track and monitor daily platform transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly settlement reports.
- Assist with reconciliation of UPI, payment gateways, and bank transactions.
Reconciliation
- Reconcile platform transactions with:
- Bank statements
- Payment gateway reports
- Merchant payout records
- Identify discrepancies and support resolution.
Vendor & Merchant Payouts
- Assist in preparing merchant payout reports.
- Track vendor payment schedules and settlements.
- Support timely payouts and financial accuracy.
Accounting & Compliance
- Maintain financial records and transaction documentation.
- Record accounting entries in financial systems.
- Support GST documentation and audit preparation.
Cross-Team Coordination
- Work closely with operations and product teams to resolve payment issues.
- Support financial data tracking and reporting across departments.
What We’re Looking ForEducation
- B.Com / BBA / Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
Experience
- 0–2 years experience in accounting, reconciliation, or finance operations.
Skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Familiarity with Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar tools.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with payment gateway reconciliation.
- Exposure to fintech or marketplace businesses.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
