About the role

Job Summary: The Chemical & Material Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and monitoring chemical and material processing techniques to improve production efficiency, product quality, and sustainability. This role involves working closely with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure safe and cost-effective processes in compliance with industry standards. Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities: 1.Design, implement, and optimize chemical and material processing systems for production. 2.Analyze chemical compositions and physical properties of raw materials and finished products. 3.Develop and improve processes to enhance product performance, reduce waste, and minimize costs. 4.Monitor production operations to ensure consistency, safety, and quality standards are met. 5.Troubleshoot process issues and propose technical solutions to improve efficiency and reliability. 6.Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process development, scale-up, and technology transfer. 7.Prepare technical documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). 8.Communicate with international clients and suppliers regarding technical specifications and process requirements. Requirements: •Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. •Experience: At least 5 years of experience in chemical or materials processing within a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred. •Skills: •Strong knowledge of chemical and material process design, thermodynamics, and reaction engineering. •Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software (e.g., Aspen Plus, COMSOL, MATLAB). •Familiarity with industry safety regulations and environmental compliance. •Excellent problem-solving, data analysis, and communication skills. •Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with overseas clients and suppliers.
