The Safety Manager/AGM will be responsible for overseeing all safety-related operations within the ZONE comprising multiple departments. The primary objective of this role is to ensure the implementation of safety protocols, monitor compliance with industry and legal standards, and foster a culture of safety across all teams in the Mills area. This position plays a Key role in guiding & Supporting line functions to reducing risks, preventing incidents, and improving safety performance in a dynamic, high-risk environment.

| Roles & responsibilities: |
| • Support line function to implement DSS workstreams across the departments & its regular monitor the performance. |
| •Conduct regular safety audits, review risk assessments at the zone |
| •Advising control measures to mitigate risks and ensure safe working conditions. |
| •Participate in incident investigations for any safety incidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions, determining root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions. |
| • Ensure compliance with all national and local safety regulations (such as OSHA, Factory Acts, etc.) and relevant ISO standards (ISO 45001). |
| • Prepare and submit safety reports to senior management, highlighting trends, incidents, and safety performance metrics. |
| • Develop and deliver safety training programs tailored to the workforce, focusing on DSS+ guidelines, High Risk Activities, SI & IM Module & Process Safety. |
| • Coordinate with external safety auditors and government agencies during audits and inspections. |
| • Lead and coordinate safety campaigns, promoting safety culture through engagement activities, competitions, and recognition programs. |
| • Promote a proactive safety culture by identifying opportunities for improvement in safety systems, equipment, and processes |
| • Coordinate department safety committees, safety observation programs, and periodic reviews of procedures & Guidelines. |
