Role Description
The Jewelry Sales Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur. This role involves welcoming clients to the showroom, understanding their preferences, and presenting suitable jewelry pieces that align with their style and budget. The associate will handle product inquiries, explain materials and craftsmanship, and guide clients through purchase decisions while maintaining a high standard of service. Daily responsibilities include managing displays, ensuring the showroom is well-organized, processing sales and returns, maintaining accurate records, and following security and handling procedures for high-value items. The role also includes building long-term client relationships, following up on leads, and supporting promotional activities and events as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact clearly and professionally with diverse clients and team members.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to provide attentive support and ensure positive client outcomes.
- Candidates should possess Customer Experience skills to create a welcoming environment and enhance each visitor’s journey in the showroom.
- Candidates should possess Retail Sales skills to recommend products, close sales ethically, and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Knowledge of fine jewelry, gemstones, and design styles, or willingness to learn quickly and continuously.
- Ability to handle high-value items responsibly, with attention to detail and adherence to security procedures.
- Prior experience in luxury retail or jewelry sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic proficiency in point-of-sale systems and record-keeping; familiarity with inventory processes is an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site full time in Jaipur, including weekends and peak festive seasons as required.
