Candidates living far from Noida or planning to relocate will not be considered.

Company Description
Divya Jewellers Private Limited is an established gold jewellery manufacturer based in Noida. We specialise in developing high-quality, lightweight and modern jewellery for domestic and international markets.
We are looking for a Head Jewellery Designer who can lead our design team, organise the complete design process and ensure that concepts are developed into physical samples efficiently.
Role Description
Apart from designing jewellery herself, The Head Jewellery Designer will be responsible for managing the design team and overseeing the complete journey of each design—from assigning the initial brief to reviewing the finished physical sample.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong design judgement, organisation, follow-up and coordination with the design, sampling and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the jewellery design team.
- Prepare and assign design briefs according to the company’s product and collection requirements.
- Distribute work among designers based on their strengths, workload and deadlines.
- Set daily and weekly design targets and follow up on completion.
- Review designs for creativity, commercial appeal, brand suitability and production feasibility.
- Ensure that designers consistently deliver the required quality and quantity of work.
- Coordinate with the sampling and production teams to move approved designs into physical development.
- Track each design from concept and approval through development, revisions and final physical sample.
- Review physical samples against the approved design and identify any required corrections.
- Maintain an organised record of every design, including when it was created, its source or brief, the designer responsible, its category, approval status, revisions and sample-development status.
- Keep digital files, design folders, physical references and sample records properly organised and easy to trace.
- Prevent duplicate, misplaced or unrecorded design work.
- Manage the company’s social media posting requirements.
- Write clear, engaging and brand-appropriate captions for jewellery posts.
- Coordinate the selection of designs and products to be featured on social media.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding design output, pending work, sampling progress and completed collections.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant experience in jewellery design and product development.
- Previous experience leading or managing a jewellery design team.
- Strong understanding of jewellery aesthetics, proportions, trends and commercial requirements.
- Practical understanding of how jewellery designs are developed into physical samples.
- Ability to review design quality and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Strong planning, task-assignment and follow-up skills.
- Excellent organisational and record-keeping abilities.
- Good written communication and caption-writing skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with designers, sampling teams, production teams and management.
- Disciplined, detail-oriented and comfortable working with deadlines.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the design department—not only create and review ideas, but also organise the team, maintain proper records, monitor development and ensure that approved designs reach the physical-sample stage.
The ideal candidate should be creative, commercially aware, organised and capable of maintaining consistent design output from the entire team.
