Turner Road is Jaipur Gems’ new two-floor flagship — ground floor for gold and Jadau, first floor for high-value appointments and private viewings. The experience has been designed to a level of detail most luxury retailers in India have never attempted: bespoke in-store scent, Aava water on arrival, piece-by-piece narration, handwritten notes at checkout, first-visit token gifts, live calligraphy for gifting moments.

T H E R O L E
As a Sales Associate, you are the first and most sustained point of contact for every client who walks through the door.You own the client relationship from greeting to farewell — and beyond. This is a full-time, on-site role across a staggered 12-hour operating day (10 AM–10 PM).
W H A T Y O U W I L L D O
– Welcome every client — Aava water on arrival, genuine attention from the first second, greeting by name where possible
– Present pieces on tray, never through glass — narrate the provenance, the craft, the stone, the occasion it was made for
– Guide clients across both floors — reading when to move to the first-floor lounge, when to stay ground floor
– Log every client interaction in CRM on JG.org — pieces shown, preferences, conversation notes, follow-up triggers
– Send a personal WhatsApp to every client within 24 hours of their visit — from your number, in your voice
– Execute the packaging theatre sequence at checkout: tissue, box, ribbon, handwritten card, farewell by name
– Support gifting moments with live calligraphy and first-visit token gifts where applicable
– Achieve individual sales targets without letting the pursuit of a number change how you treat a client who isn’t buying today
W H A T W E A R E L O O K I N G F O R
– A genuine warmth with people — not trained hospitality, actual interest in the person in front of you
– Knowledge of luxury jewellery, Jadau, Kundan, coloured stones, and gold — or a sincere hunger to learn it fast
– Comfort presenting at a high price point without hesitation, apology, or pressure
– CRM discipline — you understand that a note logged today is a sale closed next season
– The ability to read a room: who is the decision-maker, when to speak, when to be quiet, when to bring the Manager in
– Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages is a strong advantage at this location
– Prior experience in luxury retail, jewellery, or high-end hospitality is preferred — but the right instinct matters more than the right CV

This is not a passive role. You are not waiting for clients to point at something through the glass. You are telling thestory of every piece, every time, with the same energy on your eighth client of the day as your first. If that sounds exhausting rather than energising, this isn’t the right fit.
