Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sales data, customer buying patterns, and market trends to identify product opportunities and recommend suitable product assortments for the Business Development team.
- Develop and manage B2B product assortments aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor benchmarking to identify emerging trends, pricing strategies, and product gaps.
- Plan and execute new collection launches, seasonal promotions, and product refresh initiatives in coordination with internal teams.
- Prepare and maintain merchandising reports, sales analysis, inventory reports, and product performance dashboards using Microsoft Excel.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Design, Production, and Inventory teams to ensure timely product availability and successful product launches.
- Monitor product performance and recommend assortment optimization based on sales insights and customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate product data, merchandising records, and product catalogs.
- Support Business Development Managers by providing product recommendations and merchandising insights during customer discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–4 years of merchandising experience in the B2B jewellery industry.
- Strong understanding of diamonds, gemstones, gold jewellery, and consumer buying behavior.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic dashboards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
- Strong knowledge of product assortment planning and merchandising strategies.
- Experience in market research and competitor analysis.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
