Role Description — Jewellery Designer Intern
This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Mukundnagar, Swargate, Pune.
As a Jewellery Designer Intern, you will support the design team in developing original jewellery concepts and sketches. You will be involved in the end-to-end design process, from ideation to execution, working closely with senior designers to bring concepts to life.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating design sketches and concepts aligned with KLIORO’s brand language
- Assisting in bespoke jewellery projects for clients
- Supporting CAD-based jewellery modelling and design development
- Exploring stone settings, compositions, and form variations
- Ensuring all designs meet quality, aesthetic, and production standards
- Collaborating with the team to meet project timelines
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong foundation in jewellery design and design thinking
- Proficiency in sketching and visual communication
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of fine jewellery design (gold and diamonds)
- Familiarity with CAD tools for jewellery design is preferred
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
- Passion for minimal, design-forward fine jewellery
Eligibility Criteria (Important)
Applications will be accepted only from students or recent graduates of the following reputed jewellery design institutes in India:
- National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT)
- Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery (IIGJ)
- Gemological Institute of America (GIA – India)
- Jewellery Design & Technology Institute (JDTI)
- JD Institute of Fashion Technology (Jewellery Design program)
- Pearl Academy (Jewellery Design specialisation)
