Role Overview:
We are looking for a research-driven Jewelry Designer who can identify market opportunities and convert them into high-potential, trend-led designs. This role focuses on continuous design discovery, rapid concept development, and execution from idea to final sample.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct deep market & trend research to identify gaps and new product opportunities
· Analyze competitors and translate insights into sellable design directions
· Conceptualize and ideate original jewelry designs & collections. Create mood boards, references, and design briefs for development
· Develop Photoshop, CorelDraw-based design concepts/renderings
· Coordinate with CAD teams to convert designs into production-ready files
· Work closely with vendors for sampling, prototyping, and iterations. Follow up on sample development, quality, and timelines
· Collaborate closely with sourcing, e-commerce, and marketing teams for new launch requirement and ensure timely execution and successful launches.
· Maintain a thorough understanding of metal weights, gemstones, finishes, sizes, and pricing for feasible and profitable designs.
· Present designs for internal approvals and refine based on feedback
· Continuously track design performance and suggest new launches & improvements
Requirements:
· 2+ Years of experience in similar profile.
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts, or Fashion Design.
· Proficiency in CorelDRAW, Photoshop, and manual sketching techniques.
· Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, CAD, gemstones, and plating methods.
· Proven track record of designing trend-driven, commercially successful jewellery collections.
Excellent visualization, presentation, and storytelling skills
