Role Description
This is a remote, contract-based role for a Jewellery CAD Designer. The Jewellery CAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed and precise computer-aided design (CAD) models, technical drawings, and construction drawings for custom jewelry pieces. Day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with design teams, ensuring designs are producible, and maintaining high design standards. The role requires a creative individual knowledgeable in jewelry design engineering and passionate about creating unique art pieces.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and expertise in Technical Drawing
- Skill in creating high-quality Design Engineering and Construction Drawings
- Strong creative abilities in Drawing and visualizing unique jewelry designs
- Attention to detail with understanding of jewelry craftsmanship and material properties
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills to thrive in a remote work environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Jewelry Design, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Prior experience in the jewelry industry is a plus
