About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web applications to ensure they meet quality standards and function as intended.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of web applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve application quality.
- Participate in the development process to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Report on testing progress and results to stakeholders.
Educational Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Qualifications:
- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience in software testing.
Minimum Skills Set Required:
- Experience with various testing techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and document defects.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
