We’re looking for an enthusiastic Junior Developer with 6 months–1 year of professional experience to join our team. You’ll work closely with senior engineers to design, build, and maintain features using Elixir, PostgreSQL, Tailwind CSS, and HTML. You’ll also manage code via GitHub, leveraging feature branches for clean, organized development.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop & Maintain: Write clean, efficient Elixir code for back-end services and APIs.
  
• Database Management: Design and interact with PostgreSQL databases (schema design, queries, migrations).
  
• Front-End Styling: Implement responsive UIs using Tailwind CSS and semantic HTML.
  
• Version Control: Use GitHub with feature-branch workflows—create branches, open pull requests, resolve merge conflicts, and follow code-review processes.
  
• Testing & Debugging: Write and run unit and integration tests; troubleshoot and resolve bugs.
  
• Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and peer code reviews.
  
• Documentation: Maintain clear technical documentation for code, database schemas, and workflow processes.
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: 6 months–1 year in a professional development role.
  
• Elixir: Hands-on experience building applications or modules in Elixir.
  
• PostgreSQL: Competent with writing SQL queries, understanding joins/indexes, and managing migrations.
  
• Tailwind CSS & HTML: Able to craft responsive, accessible front-end layouts.
  
• Git & GitHub: Solid grasp of feature-branch workflows, pull requests, and merge strategies.
  
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly.
  
• Team Player: Willingness to learn from senior developers and share knowledge with peers.
