Equities Trade Floor Support

The firm provides a full range of investment banking, sales, trading, research and strategy across the spectrum of equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, futures, commodities and select asset and wealth management strategies, in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Following recent Equities expansion in India, the firm is searching for an Information Technology trade floor support resource to join the team in Mumbai. Primary Responsibilities 1. Provide hands-on first line trade floor support to the India Equity Trading Team based in Mumbai 2. Provide first line backup support to APAC equity trading desks across Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Australia. 3. Monitor and resolve order management system and FIX connectivity issues related to clients, vendors and internal users. 4. Liaise with system vendors on issues escalations, bug-fix and upgrades 5. Work closely with global client connectivity teams on FIX client onboarding Education and Experience Required - At least 15 years experience at financial broking firms or in a related field - At least 10 years experience in trading floor and OMS application support - At least 5 years experience in FIX protocol - Have a clear understanding of Equities order life cycle and trading system workflow, including Cash, PT, ALGO and DMA businesses - Fidessa trading system experience is strongly preferred - India and APAC market knowledge is strongly preferred - Knowledge on ULLink products is a nice to have - Good communication skill is a must - Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and maintain proper judgment in critical times on the trading floor
