Associate Merchandiser, Global Merchandising (Men’s Denim, Fashion & Graphics)

 

Role Overview

As an Associate Merchandiser, you will support the global product strategy for Men’s Denim, Fashion, and Graphics. This role focuses on driving growth through strategic SKU planning, competitive analysis, and seamless cross-functional collaboration. You will be responsible for balancing creative trends with financial objectives to deliver high-impact global assortments. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategic Planning & Assorting:

  • Own and manage global SKU plans and architecture, ensuring a balanced mix of core and fashion that meet financial targets and brand standards.
  • Manage the product lifecycle, from initial concept through market, bulk buys and PDP photoshoots.
  • Work with design on proto and sketch review to assure sku needs are captured for Wholesale.
  • Work closely with DTC to assure assortments and MSRP alignment across all channels.
  • Manage tools for global assortment with costing, MSRPS, margins and DTC and Wholesale buys.
  • Manage wholesale requests and in season chase opportunities cross functionally.
  • Manage relationships with external 3rd party vendors on collaboration opportunities with licensed IPS.
  • Analyze weekly/monthly wholesale and DTC selling to identify opportunities.

 

Market Intelligence:

  • Conduct regular "competitive shopping" and market analysis to identify white space, pricing opportunities, and emerging trends in the fashion, denim and graphics space.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Act as the primary liaison between Design, Product Development (PD), DTC, Sales, and Planning to ensure product integrity and timely delivery.
  • Lead seasonal line reviews and prepare presentation materials for key stakeholder meetings.

 

Systems & Data Management:

  • Maintain high data integrity across all internal systems including style setup (as needed), pricing, and attribute tracking.
  • Utilize Excel for complex data analysis and management

 

Required Skills & Experience

 

Technical Proficiency:

  • Expert-level Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs etc).
  • Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and ERP systems like NetSuite.
  • Familiarity with wholesale and buying platforms such as NuOrder, Full Circle, and CAP (buying systems).
  • Proficiency in collaborative tools like Miro for digital line planning and creative brainstorming.

 

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in apparel merchandising, preferably within the denim or graphics categories.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable product strategies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to navigate a fast-paced global environment.

 


Pay Range

USD $62,700.00 - USD $114,000.00 /Yr.
