Under the direction of the Director of Teen Programs, the Diller Teen Fellows Program Manager oversees the Boston cohort of the Diller Teen Fellows, an international teen leadership program sponsored by the Helen Diller Family Foundation and the JCC of Greater Boston. This position is responsible for the planning, coordination, and day-to-day management of program operations, including curriculum, logistics, participant experience, and community partnerships. The Manager also supports the broader Teen Department in delivering meaningful, relevant, and innovative programming that advances the department's strategic goals and contributes to a vibrant Jewish future. The Program Manager exercises significant independent judgment in program design, staff supervision, budget oversight, and community partnerships—translating organizational goals into high-impact, meaningful experiences that advance Jewish teen leadership and identity development.

Primary responsibilities include, and are not limited to:
Diller Teen Fellows – Program Leadership & Management
- Own the full program lifecycle for the Boston cohort, including strategic planning, curriculum development, logistics, and quality assurance across all workshops, retreats, and seminars.
- Lead and mentor 20 program participants, 2 Junior Counselors, and 1 Program Intern/Assistant, cultivating leadership skills and Jewish identity throughout the program year.
- Manage the annual recruitment, interview, and selection process to identify and enroll participants aligned with program goals.
- Manage the program budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and accurate financial reporting.
- Serve as the primary liaison to the Israeli partner coordinator; co-design and co-lead seminars in the local community and in Israel, ensuring alignment with program vision.
- Represent the Boston cohort at national and international Diller convenings, including three week-long seminars annually, and incorporate best practices and professional development back into the local program.
- Cultivate ongoing relationships with program families and alumni, positioning them as active stakeholders and contributors to the program’s impact.
- Maintain regular communication with parents of participating teens and local alumni to keep them informed and engaged in the program.
Teen Department – Program Support
- Oversee the design and execution of department initiatives including community service days, social programming, and special workshops—ensuring consistent quality and alignment with departmental vision and mission.
- Apply data, participant feedback, and community insight to continuously improve program design and outcomes.
- Assume additional responsibilities in support of department goals as directed by the Director of Teen Programs.
Community Partnerships & External Relations
- Build and sustain strategic partnerships with schools, synagogues, and communal organizations to enhance program impact and reach.
- Represent the Teen Department at community events, panels, and professional forums, serving as an ambassador for the department’s vision and JCC mission.
Organizational Leadership & Staff Standards
- Model inclusive, values-driven leadership that reflects JCC Greater Boston’s mission, vision, and commitment to a welcoming environment.
- Actively participate in organizational meetings, trainings, and cross-departmental initiatives as assigned.
- Perform other duties as required to support organizational and departmental priorities.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises the Diller Teen Fellows Intern/Assistant. Supervisory responsibilities include:
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular supervisory meetings to provide guidance, feedback, and professional development support.
- Manage staff scheduling, time and attendance, and ensure accurate and timely payroll reporting.
- Identify individual growth areas; establish and monitor annual development goals.
- Uphold organizational policies and align the work of direct reports with the JCC’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.
- Foster a positive, accountable team environment that supports both individual success and departmental outcomes.

This full-time, salaried position offers a comprehensive benefits package, a supportive work environment with a hybrid work option for some administrative duties, and a competitive starting salary range of $55,000 - 58,000 K annually.
The salary offered will ultimately be determined by relevant qualifications, experience, and JCC's internal equity.
