About the role
A) API Middleware Development & Management:
i) Design, develop, and maintain API middleware solutions to integrate Navitaire Digital APIs with Jazeera Airways' internal and external systems.
ii) Build and manage robust API architectures that support scalability, security, and high performance.
iii) Oversee API lifecycle management, including design, testing, deployment, and versioning.
iv) Ensure seamless integration of third-party collaborators, including ancillary suppliers, payment gateways, and loyalty platforms.
B) Navitaire Digital APIs Expertise:
i) Act as the in-house expert for Navitaire Digital APIs, ensuring their effective use in supporting core business processes.
ii) Collaborate with Navitaire to resolve API-related issues and enhance API functionalities to meet evolving business needs.
iii) Leverage Navitaire APIs to enable efficient integrations with marketing, booking, payment, and customer engagement platforms.
C) System Integration & Optimization:
i) Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate commercial and operational systems with the API middleware.
ii) Work closely with the Marketing and Ancillary teams to implement APIs that support new revenue streams and enhance customer experiences.

ii) Work closely with the Marketing and Ancillary teams to implement APIs that support new revenue streams and enhance customer experiences.
iii) Collaborate with the Finance and IT teams to ensure seamless payment processing and financial system integration.
G) Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
i) Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including:
Navitaire for API updates, troubleshooting, and support.
ii) Digital Transformation to align integration projects with broader technology strategies.
iii) Marketing and Ancillary teams for implementing new digital services and ancillary products.
iv) Finance and IT teams to support compliance and operational excellence.
v) Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to align on project timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
H) Innovation & Best Practices:
i) Identify and implement industry best practices for API management and integration in the airline sector.
ii) Drive innovation by recommending new APIs or middleware solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
iii) Stay updated on emerging technologies and API trends relevant to low-cost carriers and the aviation industry.
I) Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
i) Establish metrics to evaluate API performance, uptime, and transaction success rates.
ii) Monitor middleware systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
iii) Provide regular reports to senior management on API utilization, project progress, and performance improvements
