Your future duties and responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and guidance for the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications.
Design and review scalable, highly available, and resilient microservices-based solutions.
Drive system design, solution architecture, and application architecture decisions.
Work closely with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Lead development using Java 11/17/21, Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
Design and implement Microservices and distributed systems following industry best practices.
Work with Kafka, MQ, or other messaging platforms to implement event-driven and asynchronous architectures.
Provide technical guidance on API design, integration patterns, security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
Oversee database design and development using Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar relational databases.
Drive adoption of cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, automation, and engineering best practices.
Conduct code reviews, design reviews, technical assessments, and mentor engineers on technical excellence.
Identify and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production challenges.
Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture, security, coding, and development standards.
Manage and mentor a team of engineers, including performance management, career development, hiring, and resource planning.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture and ensure effective communication across technical and business teams.
Manage delivery priorities, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Strong hands-on experience with Java 11/17/21 and Core Java.
Extensive experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
Strong expertise in RESTful API development and API integration.
Proven experience in Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
Strong understanding of System Design, Solution Architecture, and Application Architecture.
Experience with Kafka, IBM MQ, or similar messaging technologies.
Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing.
Good knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and relational database design.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, automation, and modern software engineering practices.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
