About The Role
We are seeking an experienced React Developer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.js and related technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and responsive web applications that meet client requirements and industry standards. The React Developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including backend developers, UX/UI designers, and project managers to deliver seamless and efficient solutions. Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period are preferred to ensure smooth onboarding and project continuity.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10+ years of experience in front-end development, with proven expertise in React.js and related frameworks. A strong understanding of JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience developing responsive web pages using frameworks like Bootstrap or similar, and delivering medium to complex enterprise applications. Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, Redux Saga, or Redux Thunk, along with middleware integration, is required. Familiarity with module bundlers like Webpack, RESTful API integration, and unit testing frameworks such as Karma or Jest is also necessary. Additionally, experience with version control tools like Git or Bitbucket and familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
The selected React Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing user interface components that are robust, scalable, and maintainable. Responsibilities include translating UI/UX wireframes into functional code, ensuring responsiveness across devices, and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. The role involves developing and consuming RESTful APIs to facilitate smooth data exchange between frontend and backend systems. The developer will also be tasked with writing unit tests to ensure code quality and performing code reviews to maintain high standards. Collaborating with backend developers to integrate APIs, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and adhering to industry-standard project delivery frameworks such as Agile and Scrum are integral parts of this role. The candidate must stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices to continuously enhance application performance and user experience.
