The Role
We’re looking for a Node.js Developer who can design, build, and scale backend systems that power our internal platforms and client-facing solutions. You’ll work closely with consultants, product teams, and designers in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices
- Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to ensure performance and reliability
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and consultants
- Ensure code quality through testing, debugging, and best practices
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security
- Participate in architecture decisions and system design
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of experience in backend development with strong Node.js expertise
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern backend frameworks
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar
- Understanding of API design, authentication, and cloud services
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and scalable systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in a startup setup
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Background in building analytics or data-driven applications
