About The Role
We are seeking an experienced React Developer to join our dynamic team at Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai. This role requires a highly skilled professional with over 10 years of experience in front-end development, specializing in React.js and related technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive, scalable web applications that meet client requirements and industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period are preferred, as we aim to onboard talented professionals promptly to support our ongoing projects and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on React.js. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is preferred. Proficiency in Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience in developing responsive pages using frameworks like Bootstrap or similar, and have a proven track record of delivering medium to complex applications. Strong knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, Redux Saga, or Redux Thunk, along with middleware and hooks like useQuery, is required. Familiarity with module bundlers such as Webpack, and experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs are necessary. Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Karma or JEST, along with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket, is also expected. Candidates should demonstrate a good understanding of agile and Scrum methodologies for project delivery.
