Job Description
Develop and maintain backend services using Java and RESTful web services Work with MS SQL databases to design and optimize queries Utilize Apache Spark for big data processing and analytics Collaborate with teams working on big data technologies including Hadoop and Python Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform GCP Participate in code reviews testing and debugging to ensure high quality software delivery Integrate various data sources and databases into backend systems Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of backend applications
Roles and Responsibilities
Design develop and implement backend components using Java and related technologies Build and consume RESTful web services to support frontend and other system integrations Manage and optimize MS SQL database schemas and queries Leverage big data tools such as Spark and Hadoop for processing large datasets Write efficient Python scripts to support data processing and automation tasks Collaborate with cloud engineers to deploy and maintain applications on GCP Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues in a timely manner Work closely with cross functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
