Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Java Developer with AWS experience, based in Hyderabad. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications, with a strong focus on microservices and Jakarta EE frameworks. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, apply design patterns for robust and scalable architecture, and integrate applications with AWS services. Daily responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and testable code, performing code reviews, troubleshooting and optimizing application performance, and ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards. The role also includes participating in sprint planning, documentation, and continuous improvement of development processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Software Development and Programming skills in Java, with experience in building enterprise applications.
- Hands-on expertise with Jakarta EE (or Java EE) and Microservices architectures for distributed systems.
- Proficiency in applying Design Patterns to create modular, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Practical experience working with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway) for application deployment and integration.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Java development, preferably in complex, high-availability systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, collaborative mindset, and effective communication skills in diverse team environments.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and performance optimization is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and secure coding practices is an advantage.
