Job Title: Java Technical Lead

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead with 10–12 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and leading enterprise-grade Java applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to mentor development teams while delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Java developers and provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance Java applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Drive system architecture, application design, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide effective solutions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and Agile ceremonies.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software while maintaining technical excellence.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.
Required Skills
- 10–12 years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong expertise in Core Java and Java 8 or above.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and the Spring Framework.
- Strong knowledge of Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Hibernate/JPA and ORM frameworks.
- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, object-oriented programming, and software architecture.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience leading development teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working with global clients and distributed teams is highly preferred.
