We’re Hiring: Java Technical Architect – Payments (Interchange)
📍 Location: Bangalore / Remote (Need to visit the office once every 2–3 months)

Paves Technologies is looking for an experienced Java Technical Architect to design and lead the development of a modern payments platform in the Interchange domain. This role is ideal for someone who has experience building scalable platforms from 0 → 1 and can architect highly reliable, fault-tolerant payment systems.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end architecture for payment capabilities such as clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
• Design scalable and resilient microservices using API-first and event-driven architecture
• Define non-functional requirements (NFRs) including performance, scalability, availability, security, and observability
• Lead technology decisions and document architectural trade-offs
• Design and guide data architecture using PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Support Azure cloud architecture and deployment strategies
• Mentor engineering teams and review system designs and architecture
✅ Must Have
• Experience as a Technical Architect / Solution Architect for enterprise systems
• Strong expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure cloud
• Understanding of payment flows such as clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
• FinTech experience is a plus.
🌟 Nice to Have
• Experience with Fiserv VisionNext or card management systems
• Knowledge of Kafka / event streaming / resilient processing patterns
• Experience in FinTech, Banking, Card Switching, or Payment platforms
