Role Description The Java Tech Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading the design and development of enterprise-grade software solutions in the MRO lifecycle management domain. This role involves architecting and implementing Java-based applications, guiding the use of Jakarta EE and microservices, and ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable code. The Java Tech Lead will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, review code, enforce design patterns and best practices, and support performance tuning and optimization. Day-to-day tasks include mentoring developers, conducting technical reviews, coordinating with product managers and QA, and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong Software Development and Programming skills in Java for building enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with Jakarta EE for developing robust, scalable server-side components.
- Practical expertise in Microservices architecture for designing distributed, resilient systems.
- Sound understanding of Design Patterns for creating maintainable and extensible software solutions.
- Experience leading technical teams, including mentoring developers and driving code quality.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and integration with enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
