Job Description
The Associate Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3. The ideal candidate will have 0–2 years of professional experience and will play a key role in feature development, architectural improvements, performance optimization, and the maintenance and support of existing systems..
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot 3
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and development teams to deliver high-quality, integrated features.
- Participate in requirement analysis, architecture discussions, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Optimize applications for scalability, performance, and security.
- Review code and enforce clean code principles, best practices, and architectural standards.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services, including O365 SMTP for email services and RabbitMQ for messaging.
- Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB for application data storage.

- Support CI/CD processes using tools like Bamboo and Bitbucket.
- Work with S3 for file storage, Cloudflare and Load Balancers for network management.
Requirements
- Degree: BE, B.Tech, MCA, MSc IT.
- 0–2 years of professional software development experience.
- Must have knowledge of AI coding assistants (such as Codex, Claude, etc.) within the IDE editor for development tasks.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot 3
- Good knowledge of databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs; familiarity with Swagger.
- Strong understanding of backend security, performance tuning, and coding best practices.
- Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of S3 buckets, Cloudflare, and Load Balancers (LB).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Familiarity with micro services architecture, logging, and monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Work Environment

- May require occasional on-call or after-hours support for critical issues.
