Java Spring Boot Developer
About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Java Spring Boot Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development expertise and experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using modern microservices architecture. You will work closely with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable and resilient microservices-based applications.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure application security.
- Design and implement caching strategies to improve application performance and reduce database load.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment processes.
- Monitor application performance and optimize system reliability and scalability.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience or strong knowledge of Authentication and Authorization concepts (OAuth2, JWT, Role-Based Access Control, etc.).
- Experience implementing caching solutions using technologies such as Redis, Ehcache, or similar tools.
- Experience designing and developing Microservices Architecture.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Knowledge of messaging systems such as Apache Kafka.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Understanding of API design principles and application security best practices.
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
