About Netra Labs -
We're building the future of enterprise AI at Netra Labs—crafting intelligent, scalable solutions that transform how businesses operate. Our proprietary Ground Truth® framework powers expert AI agents that deliver real ROI for clients across industries. As we scale our platform capabilities, we need sharp Java engineers who can build rock-solid back-end services that power our AI infrastructure.
The Role -
You'll be a hands-on Core Java Developer owning critical back-end modules of our AI platform—from document processing pipelines (powered by AWS Textract) to real-time agent orchestration services. While you'll operate as an individual contributor, you'll also step up to guide junior engineers and coordinate technical execution when needed. This is a work-from-office role because we believe some of the best ideas happen when smart people share a whiteboard.
What You'll Own -
- Design, build, and optimize high-performance Java services using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot
- Architect and maintain data layers with MongoDB, ensuring scalability for AI workloads
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for seamless deployments
- Deploy and manage services on AWS EC2, with hands-on experience integrating AWS Textract for document intelligence workflows
- Write clean, testable code with strong emphasis on maintainability (we're serious about reducing technical debt)
- Troubleshoot production issues and own service reliability
- Occasionally lead sprint planning or mentor junior engineers on best practices
Who You Are -
✅ 4+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java development with deep understanding of concurrency, JVM internals, and performance tuning
✅ Production experience with Spring Boot (not just tutorials—we want to see how you've used it to solve real problems)
✅ Built and maintained applications using MongoDB (schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines)
✅ Automated deployments via GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools
✅ Comfortable on AWS—specifically EC2 deployments and Textract integration for extracting text/data from documents
✅ Strong grasp of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and debugging distributed systems
✅ Bonus if you've worked with AI/ML pipelines or document processing systems before
