We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to work on the Xceedance product and application. The role requires strong backend development expertise with Java/J2EE, Spring Framework / Spring Boot, BPM, and PostgreSQL, along with the ability to design and deliver scalable enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and enhance core modules of the BIA application.
- Build robust backend services using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Implement and manage BPM-based workflows to support business processes.
- Develop and optimize database interactions using PostgreSQL.
- Design and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, and estimation activities.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support when required.
- Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams in an Agile setup.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in software development using Java/J2EE.
- Strong experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with BPM technologies and workflow orchestration.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization.
- Experience in building scalable enterprise applications.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience in Insurance, Accounting, or Financial Services domain.
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
