Position: Java Software Engineer (Full Stack Developer)
Location: Bengaluru (Onsite Only)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Full Stack Developer to join the Integration
Team at Lumber. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in backend and
frontend development, API integrations, and building scalable enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
● Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and integration solutions.
● Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and backend services using Java and Spring
Boot.
● Develop responsive frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks.
● Work on third-party integrations with ERP, Payroll, HRMS, and construction
management systems.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and
deliver technical solutions.
● Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
● Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
● Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.
● Work with databases for data modeling, querying, and optimization.
● Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of applications.
Required Skills
Backend
● Strong experience in Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
● Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
● Good understanding of Hibernate/JPA.
● Knowledge of multithreading and asynchronous processing.
Frontend
● Experience with React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
● Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
● Experience in building responsive UI components.
Database & Tools
● Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
● Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
● Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
● Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience working on integration-heavy applications.
● Understanding of webhooks, event-driven architecture, and ETL processes.
● Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
● Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Education
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
