Job Title: Java Software Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Java Software Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coding, solving technical challenges, and building reliable software solutions.
In this role, you will work closely with experienced developers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications while growing your technical skills in a collaborative remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code
- Assist in debugging and troubleshooting software issues
- Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and project stakeholders
- Support backend development and API integration tasks
- Participate in code reviews and software testing
- Maintain technical documentation and project updates
- Help improve application performance and reliability
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred)
- Basic to good knowledge of Java programming
- Familiarity with Core Java, OOP concepts, and data structures
- Understanding of SQL and relational databases
- Knowledge of REST APIs and backend development basics
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Microservices
- Knowledge of Git/GitHub and version control tools
- Internship, academic projects, or coding portfolio
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies
