About the Role
• Title: Software Engineer
• Location: Bengaluru, KA
• Work Model: Hybrid (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri on-site & Wed remote)
• Work timings: 9am - 6pm
Key Responsibilities:
• Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable Java-based applications.
• Backend Expertise: Build RESTful APIs and backend services using Java Spring Boot.
• Database Management: Write, optimize, and manage SQL queries and schemas using MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Frameworks: Utilize Spring Framework (MVC, Boot, Security, JPA).
• Code Quality: Implement unit tests using JUnit/Mockito, and adhere to clean code principles.
• Workflow: Work with Git for version control and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
Required Technical Skills:
• Core Java: 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Java, including Collections, Exception Handling, Multi-threading, and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Frameworks: Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Micro Service or JPA.
• Web Services: Solid understanding of RESTful API design.
• Databases: Proficiency in SQL and RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• DevOps/Tools: Basic knowledge of Linux, Git, Docker.
• Web Basics: Understanding of HTML, CSS, TypeScript.
Qualifications:
• 1.5-3 years of professional software development experience, specifically in Java backend technologies.
• Must be available to work in Bengaluru, KA
