strong hands-on experience in Java and Microservices to lead a team of developers in designing, developing, and
delivering high-quality, scalable applications. The role requires a balance of coding, technical decision-making,
and team mentorship.
Responsibilities
Primary Skills
• 9+ years of industry experience with 6+ years in software development.
• Kafka (producer, consumer, partitions, acknowledgements)
• OMS domain knowledge
• API design & event-driven architecture
• System design and technical leadership
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java (Java 8+) and Spring Boot / Microservices architecture.
• Strong experience in Apache Kafka, including:
o Kafka Producers & Consumers
o Partitions and topic design
o Acknowledgement mechanisms and delivery guarantees
o Building real-time streaming pipelines
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with SQL / NoSQL databases.
• Expertise in modern front-end technologies such as React JS / Angular and core web technologies
(HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Strong experience in designing scalable distributed systems.
• Experience leading technical delivery for small to medium engineering teams.
• Mandatory domain expertise in Retail Order Management Systems (OMS) including implementations,
order lifecycle, sourcing/promising, or inventory management
