Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Delivery Project Lead to oversee and manage the delivery of software projects with a strong emphasis on Java Fullstack technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with client expectations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client requirements.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and providing regular updates on project status.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive problem-solving and issue resolution.
- Conduct project retrospectives to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Java Fullstack development.
- AWS with Java, mandatory 2-4 years experience.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in Modernization projects to Java +AWS
- Familiarity with Github Copilot /LLM/AI tools
- Experience with cloud technologies and deployment.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
- Experience in client-facing roles and managing stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
