Job Title: Senior Associate – Software Development (Java Full Stack)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated
Senior Associate with strong expertise in
Java, Oracle Database, and React JS to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java, Oracle (PL/SQL), and React JS
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and implementation of software components
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Contribute to Agile development processes including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions by analyzing logs and application behavior
- Maintain version control using Git and ensure proper branching strategies
- Work with cloud-based deployments and development environments on AWS
Required Skills & Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in software development
- Strong programming experience in Java / J2EE
- Hands-on experience with Oracle database (SQL, PL/SQL)
- Front-end development experience using React JS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience with Git-based source control systems
- Exposure to AWS (development/deployment level)
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Core Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Good to Have
- Experience working in Financial Services domain (preferred)
- Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot / Microservices architecture
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
