We are seeking a highly skilled Java/J2EE Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate in an Individual Contributor (IC) capacity, demonstrating strong proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Java versions from 1.6 to 21. Key responsibilities include Cloud Migration (AWS) and Application Modernization initiatives such as containerization, re-platforming, performance optimization, and scalability enhancements. Familiarity with AI and modern intelligent tooling is considered an added advantage. Candidates’ experience should range from development on Legacy Java applications to modern Spring boot based microservices

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications utilizing the Java/J2EE framework. This includes experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and advanced frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or React for full-stack development.
• Demonstrate proficiency with build and dependency management tools including Maven or Gradle to streamline development workflows.
• Handle both front-end and back-end development tasks, ensuring responsiveness and seamless integration with external services or APIs (Application Programming Interface).
• Develop various database schemas and write complex SQL queries to support application functionality and data integrity.
• Maintain and resolve issues within a complex integration architecture, ensuring optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold high-quality coding standards and share best practices with the team.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–9 years of hands-on experience in Java full stack development, with exposure to enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong understanding of application modernization, cloud migration (preferably AWS), and containerization technologies.
• Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks, and experience with both front-end and back-end development.
• Expertise in development on Legacy as well as modern springboot microservices applications
• Solid grasp of build tools (Maven/Gradle) for efficient project management.
• Expertise in database schema design and advanced SQL query development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills in integration and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with AI-based solutions and intelligent development tooling is a plus.
