Job details:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and Microservices following enterprise architecture and coding standards
- Design and implement event-driven and asynchronous applications using Kafka or Solace/MQ
- Develop Kafka producers/consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups, and message-processing workflows
- Work with Solace PubSub+ / MQ for reliable messaging and event distribution, where applicable
- Implement business logic, data processing, error handling, and exception management
- Ensure applications are scalable, highly available, secure, and performant
- Participate in the complete SDLC including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
- Troubleshoot application, API, microservices, and messaging-related issues
- Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams
- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code
- Perform code reviews and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions
- Implement unit and integration testing using appropriate Java testing frameworks
- Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud/containerized application deployments where required
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience
- Strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8+, OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot
- Solid experience developing Microservices-based applications
- Strong experience developing REST APIs and service integrations
- Hands-on experience with Kafka OR Solace/MQ
- Good understanding of event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and distributed systems
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience with Git and standard software development practices
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
