About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team at Tata Consultancy Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, particularly with Java 11 and above, and possess experience in designing and developing scalable RESTful Web Services and Microservices. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, utilizing the latest technologies to deliver innovative solutions to our clients. The Java Developer will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software components, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 to 12 years of professional experience in Java development.
- Proficiency in Java 11 or higher and extensive experience with core Java concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework and building RESTful Web Services.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with MySQL databases, including performance tuning and query optimization.
- Experience in designing and developing scalable Microservices architectures.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and scripting languages is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based applications and Microservices.
- Implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different system components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and UI/UX designers to deliver robust solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Optimize database queries and ensure the performance, scalability, and security of applications.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during development and post-deployment phases.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
