Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Java Developer Intern to join our development team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience in Java application development, backend systems, APIs, and software engineering best practices.
The intern will work closely with experienced developers to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining Java-based applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Participate in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting applications.
- Collaborate with team members on software design and implementation.
- Work with databases, REST APIs, and backend services.
- Learn and follow coding standards, version control, and development processes.
- Support application deployment and maintenance activities.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Java programming.
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub is preferred.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and grow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Knowledge of frameworks like Spring Boot or Hibernate is a plus.
- Experience with mini-projects or academic projects in Java.
