Role Description
Senior Java Developer (Pune – Hybrid Model)
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain active collaboration with Product Owners to understand business requirements and participate in requirement gathering and design discussions
- Own and manage backlog items, ensuring timely delivery of sprint commitments
- Lead technical design reviews and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality standards
- Mentor and guide team members on technical best practices and development skills
- Design, prototype, develop, and troubleshoot applications across UI and service layers
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and reusability through peer reviews and best practices
- Participate in technical discussions on architecture, design, and user experience
- Demonstrate features and functionalities to stakeholders and clients
- Contribute to continuous improvement in development processes and tools
Mandatory Skills - 4+ years of professional development experience
- Strong expertise in:
- Java / JEE
- Spring Framework & Spring Boot
- RESTful API Development
- Oracle DB
- NoSQL Databases
- Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
- Version Control (Git)
- Build Tools (Maven / Gradle)
- IDE Tools (Eclipse / IntelliJ IDEA)
- API Testing Tools (Postman)
- CI/CD Tools (Jenkins)
- Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred)
