Position: Software Engineer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $40–$63/hour
Duration: Short term
Commitment: 30+ hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Configure development environments for open-source projects in Java.
- Resolve dependency issues across various codebases.
- Ensure tests pass consistently across different environments.
- Collaborate with AI research teams to optimize environment setup.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Expertise in Java with 2+ years of industry experience.
- Familiarity with setting up development environments.
- High attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
- Strong industry experience.
